Patidar was one of the first few employees of Zomato and built core tech systems for the company, it said in a regulatory filing.

“Over the past ten-plus years, he has also nurtured a stellar technical leadership team, which has been able to drive technical work forward. Their contribution to building Zomato has been invaluable,” the company said.
However, it did not disclose the reasons for his resignation.
In November last year, Mohit Gupta, another co-founder of the company, resigned. Gupta, who joined Zomato four-and-a-half years ago, was elevated as co-founder in 2020 from the position of CEO of its food delivery business.
Zomato had seen some top-level exits last year, including Rahul Ganju, who headed new initiatives, and Siddharth Jhawar, former vice president and head of Intercity, and co-founder Gaurav Gupta.
