‘Suhail Sameer was a nalla’: Ashneer Grover on resignation of BharatPe CEO

BharatPe co-founder and former MD Ashneer Grover reacts to Suhail Sameer’s resignation as CEO resigned from his position In March last year, took to Twitter to share a poem in which he described Sameer as a ‘nalla’ and said that founder Shashwat Nakarni should ‘get up and take care of business.’

BharatPe on Tuesday announced that Suhail has resigned from his role, adding that he will take over as its strategic advisor from January 7. Nalin Negi, the current CFO of the fintech firm, will take over as CEO on an interim basis.

Meanwhile, Grover, arguably the most popular ‘Shark’ from the first season of Shark Tank India, has been very active on Twitter in recent times. The 40-year-old, who was not retained for the second season starting January 2, came up with a ‘Autobiography’ In December last year; The title of the book is ‘Doglapan: The Hard Truth About Life and Start-ups’.
