For Prajak, the transition from YouTuber to film was even scarier. She made her web debut with the Netflix romantic comedy Mismatched with Rohit Saraf and signed up to Jugjug Jio. The actor worked alongside Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Baran Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Manish Paul in the film. “I thought it would be very sincere,” he said, adding that all his fears vanished after reaching the Chandigarh set.
In the interview with Janice Sequeira, the prince and the princess met together for the first time. While Rajkumar appeared with Bhuvam Bam in the first episode of Social Media Star With Janice, Prajakta had earlier appeared with the filmmaker. Karan Johar and actor Vicky Kaushal. Host Janice reminded Prajakta that she did not express any apprehension in front of Karan about working on Jugjug Jio as she is doing now.
“You also know how nervous I was about shooting with (Karan),” admits Prajakta. Janice also recalled how Karan gifted her his Gucci ring that day. “I just want to say that I love the ring,” shared an excited audience. Rajkumar asks if Karan just handed it over and Prajakta says yes. The actor then said that this time he only has his wedding ring with him. “Ye wali de na paunga (I can’t give you that), sorry,” he said, causing everyone to burst into laughter.
Prajakta was last seen in the second season of Mismatched which was released last October. Rajkumar was recently seen in Netflix’s noir thriller Monica, and My Darling.
