Naisa Devgan Kajol is the daughter of her husband actor Ajay Devgn. Kajol started dating Ajay Devgn in 1994 and married her in February 1999. They welcomed Nyssa in April 2003 and son Yug Devgan in September 2010. Kajal is the daughter of actors Tanuja and Shamu Mukherjee.

Speaking to Mashable India, Kajol said, “Back then, there was no social media so I think life was much easier for us as kids. Yes, people knew I was Tanuja’s daughter and had a certain preconceived notion but not like now. . Nysa was studying in Singapore. Several times people stopped her on the bus and took her autograph.”

He added, “So, it’s strange but he’s known all over the world. I wasn’t before I started acting in films. At least, I had the freedom that if I went somewhere like London, there weren’t so many people. Until I got into the film line myself. Who knew me.”

Kajol made her Bollywood debut in 1992 with Bekhudi directed by Rahul Rawel. The movie also starred Ajay Mankotia, Tanuja and Vijayendra Ghatge. He acted in many films like Baazigar (1993), Yeh Dillagi (1994), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Gupta: The Hidden Truth (1997), Dushman (1998), Kavi. Khushi Kabhi Gham (2001), Fana (2006), My Name Is Khan (2010) and Dilwale (2015).

Fans will next see her in Revathi’s Salaam Venky. The film will be released in theaters on December 9. Apart from Kajol, the film also stars Vishal Jethwa, Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Prakash Raj and Ahana Kumra. The movie is inspired by the true story of young chess player Kolavennu Venkatesh, who had Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD).
